Healing with the Power of the Wood Dragon

Dates: Thursdays, June 20, and June 27, 2024

This year, the year of the wood dragon, holds some powerful energy!

 

In this class, we will explore the power of the dragon in healing. Specifically, we will delve into the “Sleeping Dragon” qigong meditation. This is a standing Daoist meditation, allowing and working with the earth energy to fill the body and the aura space for better general health. This Sleeping Dragon meditation also can assist a healing practitioner in clearing their own energy, and bringing in new energy that can be used during healing work, to accomplish it with profound peace, and reducing or minimizing tiredness afterward. 

 

We will explore the Sleeping Dragon qigong meditation in the context of the year of the wood dragon, as well as in the context of the summer solstice and how to work with and “ride” the energy of the wood dragon to the end of its lunar year cycle. 

Time: 7-8:30pm CST

Fee for the 3hr $50/$40 payment 10 days in advance, additional $20 for CEU credit

Distance Healing Methods (recording available)

The class is open to everyone; you do not have to be a practitioner to enjoy and benefit from the class.

Dates: Thursdays, January 25, February 1 and February 8, 2024

Time: 7-9pm CST

Cost: $24 for the recording, $20 for CEU credit

January 25: We will go over the anatomy of distance healing sessions. For in-class practice, we will go over grounding, clearing the third eye, as well as creating a sacred space.

February 1: We will expand the basics of third eye work in the sacred space. I will introduce the rose tool to clear the body space and the aura space. Questions are welcomed and encouraged. 

February 8: We will use additional techniques to strengthen connection with our objectives and destinations. We will practice gratitude and closing our healing space. Again, questions are welcomed and encouraged.
